- Confusion releases new AI -E -Mail -Assistant to Writing, Summary and More
- It works across gmail and outlook and promises large productivity gains
- However, it will only be available as part of a subscription that costs $ 200/month
Confusion has introduced a new AI tool designed to act as a personal AI assistant to transform E emails into action insights, but it comes at a price.
Although it isolated the new E -Mail assistant tool may not seem so expensive, it is only available for confusion maximum subscribers, which means a combined monthly bill of $ 200.
Confusion says that email assistant can prepare email responses in your tone and style, handle back and forth planning, add a meeting to your calendars, give summary of emails and meetings and lets you ask questions about your inbox. It also organizes E emails with smart labels and works across Gmail and Outlook.
E -mail assistant for confusion max
For existing subscribers, email assistant adds more value to the high-level plan, which includes unlimited laboratories, early access to new features and advanced model settings, but for non-signatures it is a very expensive option for a modest boost in productivity.
Productivity benefits are not entirely clear, with confusion with boasting that users could see a productivity increase of 3-18x per day. Day-a great range.
But most importantly for companies (which are probably the largest subscribers), SOC 2 and GDPR compliance ensure maximum data protection, and confusion promises never to train on user data thanks to companies encryption.
To interact with the E -Mail assistant, users must either e -mail [email protected] or the CC address in threads. “The E -Mail assistant knows it’s you and gets the right to work,” confusion said.
All of this said, confusion is not the only company that offers generative AI help in the E -Mail environment, and it is far from the cheapest.
Google’s Gemini is already integrated with Gmail to summarize E -Mail threads, find information in inboxes and crafts. Microsoft’s Copilot also integrates in Outlook for planning, intervening, summarizing and more.
