Connecticut Sun: Wnba Champ doubles on American criticism

Natasha Cloud, the Wnba Master Guard, who is currently playing for Connecticut Sun, fired by a trassing message on social media following her suggestion that the United States has focused on profits over people many times.

Cloud made the comments in an interview with Associated Press and defended programs that promote diversity, justice and inclusion (DEI). In the midst of criticism of her words, the cloud did not seem to hover.

“Things are that I’m not soft, & words don’t hurt me lol are we 5? It still remains people over profit,” she wrote on X. “If you really about being impartial … Google Search any overseas media coverage of what’s happening in America.

“Then come back to me and tell me the whole world crazy.”

Last week, Cloud said it was important for athletes to talk now more than ever when Trump ended government’s DEI programs and companies followed.

“The power systems work as they were always intended to work,” Cloud said. “And it’s time to break down a system that has only been about white men.”

Cloud then said she thought the county had put its focus on “money over people”.

“I understand the business aspect and I understand the human aspect,” Cloud said. “Too often, this country has put aside the human aspect and set aside profits and money over people.”

The three-time all-defensive team choices have not thrown herself away from talking her mind on social media.
