College Basketball Fans were upset over a bad call at Cooper Flagg late in Duke Blue Devils’ epic collapse against Houston Cougars in Final Four on Saturday night.
Duke shoots free kick with 19.6 seconds back in the game and up a point. Guard Tyrese Proctor’s shot went out of the edge and jumped toward flagg. When the future NBA Pro fought with two Houston players to the ball, a referee blasted the flute and called a loose ball error on Flagg.

J’Wan Roberts made two free kicks to put Houston up one point. Duke missed a few shots down the stretch and Cougars won the game 70-67 to move on to the national championship.
Duke and fans were left in disbelief.
“Must give them a lot of credit for what they do every single night they play,” Flagg said after the game. “We could have been a little more sharp down the stretch that performed some things. At the end of the day, you also have to give them a lot of credit.”

Houston closed the game on a 9-0 race in the last 33 seconds. Flagg had 27 points.
“When he knew about the game that he was Player of the Year, that he brought his team to Final Four, we knew it would be challenging,” Roberts said.
Blue Devil’s head coach Jon Scheyer complained about the collapse
“It’s heartbreaking, it’s incredibly disappointing,” he said. “There’s a lot of pain that comes with this. That’s what the tournament is all about.”
