Final Fantasy 9 Fans are now hoping for a Nintendo Switch 2 recording as the PS1 Classic gets a 25th anniversary website.
Squaresoft-developed RPG (role-playing) was originally released on the original PlayStation on July 7, 2000, which means its 25th anniversary is only a few short months away. As a result, an official site is prepared to commemorate for the apartment.
The website, translated from Japanese by IGN, says that “various projects, including merchandise and collaboration in memory of 25 -year anniversary” are on the way.
A news section on the site shows that more plushies, books, audio tracks and memorabilia are prepared for Final Fantasy 9’s 25 -Year anniversary. There is no tough confirmation of a memorial game or remake yet, but it has not prevented fans of RPG from speculating on sites like Reddit.
Plus, the big Nintendo Switch 2 Direct presentation happens tomorrow (April 2), causing people to believe in a confirmation of a Final Fantasy 9 Remake for the upcoming console can be a real option.
Final Fantasy 14: DawnTrailAt The popular MMORPG’s (massive multiplayer online role -playing) latest expansion also has a main story that is strongly inspired by Final Fantasy 9.
In a vacuum, it does not mean much as FF14 has routinely hailed to the series’ inheritance through different pieces of content. But at least it shows that Square Enix and Developer Creative Studio 3 both have Final Fantasy 9 On the brain.
