Court finally orders Challan in drug possession against Sahir Hasan

A local court in Karachi on Wednesday ordered the investigative officer to submit the final Challan in drug possession involving Sahir Hasan, the son of acclaimed actor Sajid Hasan, within six days.

Court Judge South, Shehzad Khawaja, issued the order during a hearing held at the legal complex of Karachi Central Prison. The case concerns the alleged recovery of drugs from Sahir Hasan earlier this year.

During the case today, the prison authorities presented the defendants to the magistrate, while police presented a corrected temporary challenge during the session.

The judge instructed the investigative officer to quit the case and submit the complete Challan before April 22. The court also ordered that the defendants were again produced on the same date.

Police officials informed the court that Sahir Hasan remains in custody following the jail.

Sahir, who has worked as a model and actor, was arrested due to charges of possession of drugs, with police recovering drugs worth RS50 million from him.

Investigators claim he had been involved in drug distribution for at least two years.

According to the SIU police, Sahir Hasan also revealed that both Mustafa Amir and his suspected murderer Armughan used to buy drugs from him.

Investigators revealed that on January 2, Mustafa Amir acquired two grams of drugs from Sahir Hasan on credit. Later, on January 15, Armughan and Shiraz visited him and bought an ounce of medicine worth RS350,000.

During the investigation, Sahir revealed an extensive network of drug trafficking. According to SIU officials, the suspect revealed that drugs originate from Colombia and are smuggled into Pakistan via California.

They arrive at Islamabad and Lahore through Courier Services. Two brothers operating through the dark web, orchestrating these shipments and coordinating deliveries in Pakistan. One of their cousins ​​facilitates the final distribution of Karachi.
