Dallas Cowboy’s wide receiver Kavontae Turpin was arrested in Texas on Marijuana and weapons charges on Saturday.
The fast recipient and return specialist for Dallas faces a few wrongdoing after being arrested and booked in Collin County Prison, according to Dallas Morning News.
Turpin faces possession of marijuana and the illegal transport of a weapon, both are wrongdoing in Texas. Prison registrations also confirm that Turpin was released from prison on Sunday.

There are no further details about Turpin’s incident or whether he will meet any discipline from cowboys or NFL.
This is not the first time Turpin has dealt with legal issues off the field when he was kicked from his TCU Horned Frogs team due to assault charges he pleaded guilty to college.

Turpin ended up being eradicated out of college, where he played in several leagues before eventually landing with cowboys in 2022.

He ended up finding a solid home there and serving two Pro Bowl nicks during his three seasons, most of which was due to his ability to make magic happen on special teams.
He was a first-team all-pro last season after a total of a league-high 904 return yields at Kickoffs with a touchdown. He also had a point return and 187 meters on these kicks last season.
Turpin can also provide some breakout speed when Dak Prescott gets him the ball and pulls 31 receptions in 420 yards with two touchdowns.
