Cowboys Star Micah Parsons sends a blunt message as standoff pulls on

Micah Parsons saw from the sidelines on Wednesday when Dallas Cowboys underwent a padded practice in Oxnard, California.

But as the team prepares to return to Texas, Parsons’ contractually remains a problem.

While Parsons was close to the long -time cowboy owner and general manager Jerry Jones on Thursday, talking between Parsons’ representatives and the team’s front office has not arrived.

Last week, Jones said he had not spoken to Star Pass Rusher since his request to be traded for another team was published.

Jones made it clear that he has no intention of dealing with all-pro Edge Rusher. On Wednesday, Parsons was asked to share an update on where negotiations on the extension of the contract stood.

“My mouth is closed,” Parson’s journalists said, according to The Athletic.

Parsons missed four games last season, but still ended the year with 12 sacks. He has recorded double -digit sacks in each of his four seasons in Nfl.

As is currently the case, Parsons will enter the 2025 season in the last year of his Rookie deal. Parsons is looking for a new contract during a summer, with other stars tendering Rushers, like Myles Garrett and TJ Watt, landed lucrative extensions from their respective teams.
