Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has launched Apni zameen apna ghar Initiative, a flagship welfare program aimed at delivering free residence plot to the provincial’s poorest and homeless citizens.

The first phase of the scheme awards 1,892 free 3-Marla grounds across 23 low-income housing projects in 19 districts.

The initiative is managed by Punjab Housing and Town Planning Agency under the administrative supervision of the housing department, urban development and the Department of Public Health.

The program is part of CM Maryam Nawaz’s wider “Housing for All” vision and is designed to benefit those who meet the criteria for eligibility.

Districts included in phase one

Attock, Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, Bhakkar, Chiniot, Faisalabad, Gujrat, Jhang, Jhelum, Kasur, Khushab Layyah, Lodhran, Mandi Bahauddin, Okara, Rajanpur, Sahiwal, Sargodha, vehicle

Who is eligible?

Must have a permanent residence status in Punjab per Cnic

Applications are accepted only in the applicant’s original district

Applicant, spouse and dependent children may not own any property in Pakistan

Pure criminal listing is mandatory

Applicant may not be a bank or financial institution defaulter

Submission of fake or misleading information will result in incompatibility
