Crypto lends Nexo signed a three-year sponsorship with DP World Tour, Europe’s promotional golf competition, for more than $ 10 million in a deal that sees, the company will be the tour’s official digital asset and wealth partner through 2027.
A spokesperson for the company refused to give a certain value to the deal and said only it was an eight-figure sum.
One of the events of the tour, the Scottish Championship, is renamed the Nexo championship. It takes place on President Trump’s course, Trump International Golf Links in Aberdeen, 7-10. August.
The trade throws itself a fruitful couple of months for the crypto lender, who said in April it reintroduced the US market. It left the country in 2022 and said that its negotiations with regulators about its earnings product had hit a “blind alley.”
