Chief Financial Officer for Crypto Mark Maker Portofino Technologies, Mark Blackborough, recently left the company.
“We can confirm that our CFO surpasses out of the business. When we scale and adapt to new opportunities on the market, we are constantly developing our leadership team to adapt to our long-term strategic goals,” a company’s spokesman said in email comments.
“Leadership transitions, especially in high -growth environments, are a natural part of the construction of an elastic organization. Our focus remains on execution, delivery and continued growth,” the spokesman added.
Blackborough did not respond to a request for comment after publication time.
The Swiss company’s former CFO was based in London and joined Crypto Trading Firm last September.
Before coming to Portofino Technologies, Blackborough was hired as CFO for Enigma Securities, a digital activity provider. Prior to this, he worked for Crypto Market Maker GSR according to his LinkedIn profile.
Portofino told Coindesk last month that it was exploring to open new offices in both New York and Singapore.
The company raised $ 50 million in equity financing at the end of 2022 and was founded by two former Citadel Securities leaders Leonard Lancia and Alex Casimo in 2021.
The company is regulated in the UK, Switzerland and the British Virgin Islands.
