Big bad wolf, the study behind Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansonghas announced his next game, Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss.
Revealed under Nacon Connect 2025, Cthulhu: the cosmic abyss is a brand new first -person psychological thriller to be launched on PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series and PC in 2026.
The developer shared the first look at the upcoming narrative game with an eerie cinematic teaser trailer showing the playable character Noah in an environment inspired by HP Lovecraft’s universe. You can check it below.

In this game, you take the role of Noah, an agent for Ancile, a secret interpoly department that specializes in occult cases investigating the mysterious disappearance of miners in the depth of the Pacific.
“His quest will lead him to the labyrinthine prison in R’lyeh, an old immersed city where Cthulhu is imprisoned,” the description reads. “Alongside his AI-Ledagen key, Noah has to solve complex riddles, make choices that will shape his fate and resist the mind-corrupt influence of Cthulhu.”
