Dakota Johnson welcomed a new vertical friend after her recent collapse with Chris Martin.
The Materialists Star appeared on Good hung Podcast on June 10 and revealed that she was adopting a puppy named Tokyo from Santa Barbara Humane Society in California.
“We saved her on Saturday from Santa Barbara Pound,” Dakota told host Amy Poehler.
“I didn’t plan it,” she said of her adoption.
While remembering his former pet dog, Zeppelin, who died in December at the age of 17, the actress noted, 35, that she was still taking care of the loss.
“I thought,” it’s going to be a while, “Dakota remembered.” But then I saw her and she’s an angel. “
The Fifty Shades of Gray Actress even brought Tokyo to the Podcast studio.
“She’s an artist,” Dakota joked when Tokyo sniffed the microphone. “Usually she hides in the back of her box. Now she’s like,” here I am. “
“You are an actress just like your mother!” She talked to her new pet with a smile.
