The host appeared today and asked him, “There are some speculation out there in the universe that you could be thrown like the next Black Panther. Have you had any conversations about it? Yes or no?”
The star that was on the show to promote his upcoming movie F1gave a mixed answer, “Yes-No!”.
When he was pressed by the host, the actor said, “Uh, it could mean no!” But “that probably means yes,” said the host, Craig Melvin. “If they asked would you say yes?” Idris eventually replied: “Yes.”
Despite these rumors of reworking, Nate Moore, the producer of Black Panther 3weighed in on an interview with EW.
“I know there has been a lot of talk online about casting and villains. None of that is true,” he added.
“We just haven’t come there yet to be honest, but I’m very excited about starting these conversations hopefully this year.”
It is expected Black Panther 3 will be out in 2028.
