ISLAMABAD:
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State Senator Ishaq Dar emphasized on Friday that regional sharing of innovation and expertise in renewable energy can help South Asia collectively reduce its dependence on fossil fuels and transition to a greener, more sustainable future.
He was addressing the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) conference 2025 titled “South Asia’s Economic Outlook: Challenges & Opportunities”.
“In Pakistan, the energy crisis has long been a challenge, but it is also an area of enormous opportunity. It has one of the largest untapped renewable energy potentials in the world.”
