Islamabad:
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister (DPM/FM) Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Wednesday called for a strategic audit to increase qualified work exports.
DPM was chairman of a high-level meeting to review Pakistan’s emigration, overseas employment and technical and vocational education (TV) policy focusing on adapting the country’s workforce with global market requirements, says a DPM Office news announcement.
DPM DAR emphasized the urgent need to invest in high -quality skills development, diversifying new employment sectors and exploring unused international destinations for Pakistani workers.
He emphasized the importance of adapting Pakistan’s human capital with international demand to increase foreign transfers, expand employment opportunities abroad and improve the country’s global economic footprint.
“The government is obliged to upgrade skills development frameworks and expand the overseas employment opportunities. This will not only increase transfers but also improve Pakistan’s competitiveness on the global scene,” Dar said.
