Islamabad:
Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar emphasized on Thursday that they are urgent to adopt structural reforms to protect the viability of the energy sector.
Deputy Prime Minister was chairman of a high-level meeting to undergo urgent challenges that Pakistan’s energy sector faces and explores solutions for long-term economic and operational stability, a DPM Office news announcement said.
He instructed the relevant ministries and departments to submit concrete political proposals aimed at reducing losses, rationalizing subsidies and reforming pricing structures focusing on ensuring long -term sector stability and economic efficiency.
