Islamabad:
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar will take on an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from August 25 to 26 to participate in the extraordinary session of the OIC Council for Foreign Ministers (CFM) in Jeddah.
DPM/FM travels directly from Dhaka after the end of his two-day visit to Bangladesh to attend the high-level meeting.
“The high-level meeting is gathering foreign ministers and senior officials from OIC Member States to consider coordinating responses to the escalating development of Palestine, the result of ongoing Israeli military aggression, said its proposed plans for full military control over Gaza and the continued irregular violations of the Palestines’ rights,” said the foreign quarters in an foreign quarters in a declaration.
As a steadfast spokesman for the Palestinian case, the spokesman said Pakistan consistently highlighted the question on the international forums.
During the upcoming extraordinary OIC-CFM session, the Deputy Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister will confirm Pakistan’s unwavering support for Palestine and repeat its principle attitude.
DPM/FM will go in for total withdrawal of Israel from all the occupied Palestinian territories; Reject the scandalous Israeli plan to expand full military control over Gaza and further displacement of Palestinians; emphasizes the urgent need for unobstructed humanitarian help; and calls for the restoration of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian folk-unparallel creation of an independent, coherent and sovereign Palestinian state based on borders before June 1967 with AL-QD’s al-Sharif as the capital.
On the sidelines for OIC-CFM, DPM/FM is expected to hold bilateral meetings with its colleagues from central OIC Member States, the statement added.
