Daredevil: Born again Season 2 continues Matt Murdock and his vigilant Alter-ego’s journey in Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
The high-ranked Disney+ TV show, which mostly excited us during its first season, will be back for more R-classified street-level action in the near future. In fact, with main photography beginning at the end of February, Season 2 could be with us already in next year.
While we are waiting for Daredevil: Born again To return, there is plenty to read about his second chapter in this guide, including information about its role, plot and future. Larger spoilers follow for the first season of the popular seriesSo continue with caution if you haven’t seen it all yet.
Daredevil: Born again season 2 release date – what we know so far
Daredevil: Born again Season 2 does not have a confirmed release date.
However, Marvel’s head of TV, Animation and Streaming, Brad Winderbaum, revealed to talk on the phase Zero podcast before season 1’s release, shooting at the end of February. At the time of this article’s publication (April 19), this means that the cameras have been rolling for almost two months.
As for when the Marvel phase 6 -TV series may have debuted, Winderbaum told Screenrant that he hoped new seasons would be released annually. That means Born again Season 2 could arrive sometime next year.
My best guess? It starts to be sent in early 2026. Except Avengers: Judgment Day and Spider-Man: Brand new daywhich arrives in theaters in May and July 2026, no other MCU projects have official release dates. With such a large gap between Marvel’s last release of 2025 and Avengers 5A release window in February or March 2026 feels like a perfect fit to Born again‘s next installment.
And it seems that I have spiced my guess perfectly. By going to Instagram after the Season 1 final, Showrunner Dario Scardapane is released anything but confirmed season 2 in March 2026.
Is there a trailer for Daredevil: Born again Season 2?

No, and there won’t be one Daredevil: Born again Season 2 trailer until much closer to launching on Disney+. I update this paragraph when one is released.
Daredevil: Born again season 2 confirmed role crew

- Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil
- Vincent d’Onofrio as wilson fish
- Margarita Levieva as Heather Glenn
- Nikki M. James as Christian McDuffie
- Deborah Ann Woll As Karen Page

They are not the only actors we see in one of the best Disney+ Shows’ next installment.
Per. Deadline, Matthew Lillard (Five Nights at Freddy’s, SCOOBY-DOO) has apparently signed in a non -revealed role. Deadline has also required Lili Taylor (Outer rangeAt Manhunt) will act as a political rival for d’Onofrio’s fish.
Elsewhere, images that are broken and uploaded to Getty Images by Bauer-Griffin photographer Jose Perez, Broadway Star Sydney Parra appear in some capacity.

However, the biggest surprise when it comes to Season 2’s role crew list is the return of the Elden Henson, who plays Franklin ‘Foggy’ Nelson.
Murdocks Med attorneys and closest friend was apparently killed by bullseye in Born again‘s first episode. After the show’s two-episode premiere, however, Marvel fans came with a wild theory that Foggy may still be alive. Some pointed out that Nelson’s apparent death was creepy similar to how he falsified his own death in an ed brubaker-written daredevil cartoon in the mid-2010s, which Born again are loosely based on.
Waterbaum, who spoke to Phase Hero’s Brandon Davis before Season 1’s debut, confirmed that Elden Henson would be back as foggy in the show’s second season. However, it is unclear what capacity will be. Could it be a flashback sequence or two? Or, as some fans think is Foggy still alive? We find out when Season 2 is released.
Daredevil: Born again Season 2 Plot Details

Spoilers follow Daredevil: Born again Season 1.
Born again Season 2’s story Synopsis has not been revealed yet. But based on how its predecessor ended, what its role crew has teased, and some leaked images from which it is filmed in the real world placements, we have a good idea of what might happen.
I don’t cover what happened in the last season’s last episode here. For a full overview of events in ‘just to hell’, plus some important questions that season 2 has to answer, my Daredevil: Born again Season 1, which ends explained, must be your first port of call.
On the non-spoiler front hyped Cox up the story told in Season 2, the show’s lead tells Collider it’s “some of my favorite things I’ve read”. D’Onofrio also told a round table with journalists (per IGN) that he “had to have a little crying about” this season’s manuscripts because of the emotional influence they have on viewers.
But what can we expect from Season 2’s overall narrative from a spoiler-led perspective? First, this season has been under development since March 2023. In light of the creative problems Born again Season 1 was met with later that year, the show underwent a revision that included the hiring of current Showrunner Dario Scardapane and directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead.
One thing that was preserved, however, was its episodic structure. Like Season 1, the show’s second excursion will include eight episodes that Scardapane confirmed to Collider in February.
As his predecessor’s final revealed, Matt Murdock and Karen Page founded an underground resistance movement that will fight for Fish’s fascist regime to regain control of New York’s streets.
We already have a sense of how they start doing it too. At the end of March, a bunch of first-look season 2 photos appeared online that showed Murdock and Page wearing disguises (or whatever passing for a disguise in MCU). Obviously, they scop something or someone or they are in search of new allies to participate in their case.
It won’t be the only costume overhaul that Cox’s Murdock gets in season 2 .. As some leaked pictures in the above X/Twitter post reveals, Murdock will be Sporting Daredevil’s classic black suit, complete with its red -colored ‘DD’ logo on the chest next time.
Bullseye, with whom Daredevil will pursue and/or flee from Fisk’s Anti-Vigilante Task Force (AVTF), is also seen wearing an updated version of his classic costume. Obviously, the couple has not followed Fisk’s warning about Vigilantes, walking on the streets in the middle of the implementation of a fighting in New York – part of his ‘safer streets’ initiative to eradicate scourge of masked individuals from the city.
There are many more superhuman characters that could populate the street corner of MCU, including those who appeared in Netflix’s now abandoned Marvel TV universe. So what are the chances of Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist, who not only make their MCU debut in Season 2, but helps Daredevil fight the threat that fishermen make up?
In conversation with Entertainment Weekly (EW), Winderbaum and co -producer Sana Amanat would not exclude one or all of these characters, or even reintroducing the electra and hand, appearing in Daredevil: Born again Season 2.

A hero who is incredibly unlikely to join Daredevil’s case (on the small screen, yet) is Tom Holland’s Spider-Man.
There were references to Spider-Man in Born again Section 2 and Born again However, Sony Pictures owns the live-action rights to web sounds, so unless Marvel beats an expensive deal with Tech Giant’s Entertainment Division, the chances of Peter Parker popping in to help remove fish is actually zero. We live in Hope that Devil of Hell’s Kitchen will join forces with Spidey in a big screen project instead.

Will there be a third season of Daredevil: Born again?

Daredevil: Born again Season 2 is very unlikely that it has any influence on what will happen in the next two Avengers movies or Spider-Man 4. However, other projects will be * Ahem * born out of what happened last season and in the next excursion series.
The first of them will be a Disney+ special presentation with Frank Castle/The Punisher. As per the Hollywood Reporter it could be released in 2026, so events in this TV special can run parallel with Born again‘s next chapter. It will be co-written by Bernthal and We own this city Director Reinaldo Marcus Green, who has called it a “shotgun blast of a story” (via EW).
As I mentioned earlier, Marvel can also look at revising figures from Netflix’s Defenders verse. In a speech with ComicBook.com, Winderbaum suggested that it was “inevitable” that Jones like Jones, Cage et al. Would make their MCU debut before telling EW that the comic book giant “very explored” ways of bringing them over.
However, the devil is in the details so we get to see what is shaking out of Daredevil: Born again Season 2 first before you expect too much, too early on a potential Defenders reunion.
