- Daredevil: Born again Section 3 hides another spider-man Easter egg in clear sight
- This time, it potentially refers Miles Morales’ any arrival to MCU
- We still don’t know when morales might get its live-action debut
Daredevil: Born again has dropped the largest clue yet that Marvel is preparing to bring Miles Morales into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Disney+ Show’s third episode, entitled ‘The Hollow in His Hand’, seems to include a sneaker reference to Morales, which you may have missed at first view. However, some MCU fans, even included, picked up immediately on the Easter Egg-and surprisingly, it is set tongues that watch when Morales might get his live-action debut as the franchise’s second Spider-Man.

The reference in question grows up when Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) tries to convince the jury that his client, Hector Ayala (deceased Kamar de Los Reyes), is innocent of the charges brought against him. Remember that Ayala is in trial to allegedly kill the New York Police Officer (NYPD) Shanahan in Marvel Phase 5 TV shows second episode.
During this scene, Murdock scrolls of the names of other NYPD detectives that, according to their written reports, can testify to Ayala’s good character. That’s because Ayala has saved many New Yorkers in their needs time like his Super Hero -Olia’s White Tiger.
Until section 3, nobody knows – yes, Murdock and his private investigator Cherry (Clark Johnson) despite – that Ayala is white tiger. The fact that Bombshell reveling is publicly revealed to the court of Murdock himself, but in a Hail Mary movement to prove Ayala’s innocence when Murdock and Kirsten McDuffies (Nikki M James) previous defense plan fall apart.
But back on the subject. As the Murdock lists the names of NYPD officers who have hung the white tiger (and by proxy Ayala) has done more well than harm, he mentions someone called “Officer Davis”.
For those uninitiated, this just sounds like another cop who is hired to keep New York’s streets in safety. For Marvel Comic Book-Related, or anyone who has seen one or both of Sony’s animated Spider-Vers movie- Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Vers and Spider-Man: across spider-verse – However, this name will be well known.
The reason? Miles Morales’ father is not only a police officer, but also has the surname Davis. Full name is Jefferson Davis, he was born in Brooklyn, married to a Puerto Rican named Rio Morales and had a child whom they called Miles. In the Spider-Vers films, Jefferon Davis by Bryan Tire Henry is expressed. In Sony Studios’ Spider-Man 1 and Spider-Man: Miles Morales Video games, he is portrayed by Russell Richardson.
Now it is possible that there may be another officer whose last name is Davis in MCU. It would do all I’ve written to this point, invalid. However, it would be an incredible coincidence if Murdock Wasn’t To talk about Jefferson Davis in one of the best Disney+ shows.
There is several evidence to suggest that Miles Morales’ MCU debut may not be too far away. Speaking to Inverse in June 2023 about his new Apple TV+ show The crowded roomTom Holland, who is currently playing Peter Parker/Spider-Man in MCU, said he would be “honored” to help initiate Morales’ arrival.
Parker has mentored Morales in Spider-Man comics, video games and movies. And given that the Netherlands will not be on playing Marvel’s legendary webslings forever, a departure of the torch feels inevitable. What better way to move the needle in MCU than by introducing morales and making him this universe’s new Spider-Man when the Netherlands hangs up his own spandex suit?
Speaking of Spider-Man, this is not the first time it Born again has referred to the wall crawler. Here’s why Daredevil: Born again Section 2 gave me hope over a potential team-up between the two heroes, although one that will not happen on Disney+, also known as one of the world’s best streaming services.
