Adams believes that Hunter could face harm to concerns if his workload involves significant snaps in the long term on the offensive and defensive sides of the ball.
“I don’t even think it’s possible to do. Not at a high level. It’s hard enough to go to cover a point and then be on one side,” Adams said during a recent performance at “The Pivot” podcast.
Jaguars’ Travis Hunter Highest Rated Rookie in ‘Madden’ of over 10 years
“It’s just a lot of mileage, man. I’m not even worried so much if he can do it during a game or season. It’s more like how long will his career be if he plays so many snaps? All you’re doing is to double your risk of injury.”

Adams made it clear that he hopes that Hunter can eventually avoid any harm, but warned about what the Heisman winner will encounter playing defense against NFL players.
“I don’t want any of that on him. I hope he can play an injury-free season and go ball out. But this is the reality. It’s already 100% damage guarantee. When you first get out there playing both sides, tackle Derrick Henry with that frame. He’s athletic as hell but he’s gotta do some ninja s-.”

Two-way NFL players have been a rarity. Chuck Bednarik was the league’s last two-way athlete full time. Bednarik was a linebacker and offensive lineman for Philadelphia Eagles from 1949-62.
Sammy Baugh and Don Hutson are also remarkable former two -way stars. Baugh was a quarterback, defensive back and punter. Huston spent his entire NFL career with Green Bay Packers, where he played the recipient and security. Later he had a stint as a Packer’s assistant coach.
