- Death Stranding 2: On the beach has been rated in Korea
- Director Hideo Kojima has also teased a new trailer
- Will it be shown in the rumored upcoming upcoming state of games?
The Gaming Assessment and Administration Committee (Grac), the South Korean Video Milling Rating, has assessed the highly expected upcoming game Death Stranding 2: On the beach.
As detailed on the board’s website, which we have translated the machine, the title is described as “an adventure game of delivering packages across a post-apocalyptic world and connecting cities to save humanity.” It is a prerequisite that should not come as any surprise if you are familiar with the first game, Death StrandingAs it seemed obvious from the first reveal that this successor will follow it quite closely.
The game was considered not suitable for minors, with the board citing “excessive violence” with “red blood”, “excessive vulgar language, gang and gang” plus “direct drug use” in the form of smoking and drinking.
Games generally tend to receive age assessments when they are quite close to release, although this is far from a guarantee that Death Stranding 2 coming out soon. Still, CEO Hideo Kojima recently announced some teasing for X / Twitter, who seemed to suggest a new trailer was in the works.
In a post, he said it was a year since he last edited something, presumably a game trailer, and described listening to potential songs to be included. He followed this with a picture of a screen showing the text “A Hideo Kojima Game”, probably the title card from the trailer he is doing.
The latest rumors suggest that a state of play -lifestream is likely to occur in the near future, potentially even at the end of next week. Is one Death Stranding 2 Trailer is going to appear? With all this in mind, it seems very plausible, especially considering the status of the game as a PlayStation 5 console exclusive.
