Deepseeks AI app, which recently sent waves through the global AI market by offering a seemingly more powerful model developed at a relatively lower price than its competitors, should be banned from US government units, lawmakers have said.

Two congressmen are trying to introduce a Toparts Bill proposal to ban the app from government units as it constitutes a national security threat for the United States.
