Islamabad:
Defense Minister Khawaja Asif visited the naval headquarters on Tuesday and met the head of Naval Staff (CNS) Admiral Naveed Ashraf.
According to a statement from the DGPR Pak Navy, the two discussed the regional maritime security environment and the operational preparedness of the Pakistani Navy.
Admiral Ashraf informed the Minister of prevailing maritime challenges and the marine’s extensive readiness to tackle them. He also outlined ongoing and planned initiatives aimed at improving and modernizing naval functions.
The Minister of Defense was interested in the recent induction of advanced platforms and groundbreaking equipment.
