With Cleveland Browns that sent Joe Flacco to Cincinnati Bengals to take over their quarterback tasks, Rookie Shedeur Sanders naturally slides Brown’s depth card over in week 6.

Dillon Gabriel, who started his first NFL start in London in a loss to Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, remains the starter. But when Flacco was his backup after being benched after four weeks, Sanders will now be behind him as they prepare to meet Pittsburgh Steelers on the road.

When Browns made this surprising trade in the division, the Colorado Buffaloe’s main coach Deion Sanders the legendary father of Cleveland’s choice of fifth round-asked about trade during his weekly press conference ahead of his own game this week.

His answer?

“I don’t care,” Sanders journalists told mute. “I don’t give anything about Browns at all. I’m interested in the Colorado buffalo. I love me some cloudy Sanders, I think.

Fair enough from “Coach Prime.”

Elder Sanders stares at a 2-4 record through six games with his buffaloes. They come from back-to-back losses against Byu and TCU, and Sanders hopes to get a 0-3 record in the BIG 12 game ahead of his matchup against No. 22 Iowa State in Boulder on Saturday.

Deion predicted his son at one point would play in his rookie campaign, though he would not give a final timeline.

Sanders shared his thoughts about the podcast “New Heights” and told hosts Jason and Travis Kelce that he has “got a feeling when it will go down.” He has asked his son to “be patient and be clear” as he has the belief that his time is coming.

In his first start, Gabriel was 19-of-33 (57.6% completion rate) in 190 yards with two touchdown passes in the loss 21-17 to the Vikings abroad. Minnesota ended up winning the game in the late stages when Jordan Addison scored the game -winning touchdown with only a few seconds left on the fourth quarter.

The Bengals were obviously desperate after getting someone else in the building at Quarterback, after Jake Browning, who had taken over for the wounded Joe Burrow, lost each of his first three starts. When Burrow was probably out for the rest of the regular season, Bengals reportedly called on more fronts before landing on Flacco.

Flacco did not go well through four weeks when Browns went 1-3. He completed 58.1% of his passports in 815 yards with two touchdowns and six interceptions. Main coach Kevin Stefanski made the change, although he kept Flacco as the team’s backup instead of moving sheds up into the depth card.

While it is unknown whether Flacco immediately starts for Cincinnati, the move counts to have him in place over browning after three equal losses.
