Colorado Buffaloe’s main coach Deion Sanders revealed his bold idea to College Football Playoff (CFP), which no one has brought up and it does not involve the format.
It’s about paying the players.
“Coach Prime” suggested paying players to make CFP and also pay them extra if they move on.
“Now it’s equality, now it’s even and each player earns the same amount,” Sanders said in an interview with the affiliated Press.

This interview also involved college football coach Nick Saban as part of their new AFLAC advertising. Saban has been extremely vocal to get college sports down the right path in this new name, image and equality (zero) fuel.
While a Commissioner for University Sports was floated, Saban said he wants no part of it.

“I don’t want to be in that Briar -patch of being a commissioner, but I want to do everything I can to do it right,” he noted.
However, both coaches feel that more structure is needed, as schools have the ability to make players millionaires because Nil offers and schools are able to pay up to $ 20.5 million each to their athletes over the next year.
Sanders referred to zero offers as a joke and said that “there are only three or four guys that you may know their zero and the rest you just give money to.”

Saban also cares about what happens after these players leave college.
“This year and year and years as coaches, and when we were players, we learned this: We are trying to create value for our future,” Saban explained. “That’s why we go to college. It’s not just to see how much money we can make while we’re in college. That’s how it affects your future as far as our ability to create value for ourselves.”
To Sanders’ points about paying players to make college-football playoffs, conferences if schools get the 12-team CFP to receive $ 4 million. These payouts are rising with each win, but Sanders wants wealth to spread to the players who help make it happen instead of just the conferences.
