Denise Richards has reportedly taken a big step in his legal battle with Aaron Phypers.
As per the latest finds of US weeklyDenise will call her alienated husband’s mother to testify in court about his alleged “abuse”.
On August 29, Richards, 54, presented his witness list for next week’s consultation, and that includes Aaron’s 84-year-old mother, Patricia Phygers.
During the hearing, Richards is expected to claim that her current temporary restriction order against Aaron, 52, should be transformed into a permanent one.
According to court documents obtained by the outlets, Richards said that Patricia will “testify to communication” she had with the actress “about abuse committed at [Richards] by [Aaron]. ”
The former couple who marry in 2018 confirmed their split earlier this year.
Richards noted that she expects Patricia’s testimony to last an hour.
Aaron himself is also on Richards’ witness list, with plans for him to be called to the stand for up to four hours.
In his filing, Richards made a series of alarming claims that claimed: “Throughout our relationship, Aaron would often fiercely strangle me, scary violently pushing my head with both hands, squeezing my arms, fiercely slamming me in my face and head, aggressively slaming my head in the bathroom’s towel rack.”
She continued, “threatens to kill me, hold me down with my knee on my back to the point where I had to ask him to get off me so he wouldn’t kill me and hack into my laptop and phone and download all my text messages.”
