DEX Agregator 1 inch integrates ZKSYNC to increase transverse chain-swaps

Decentralized Exchange (DEX) Aggregator 1 inch network has expanded its transverse chain swap options by integrating ZKSYNC, a LAG-2 scaling solution for Ethereum to provide faster and cheaper transactions when moving crypto between different networks.

The integration, which was advertised via a press release shared with Coindesk, allows its users to be seamlessly performing cross-chain-swaps involving ZKSYNC. 1inch said this feature, driven by its “Fusion+” technology and launched in Beta last September, has already relieved millions in trade volume.

“With bridgeless, confidence minimized cross-bodied swaps now available on the ZKSync era, 1inch expects a remarkable uptick in trading and user recording,” Sergei Kunz told Co-founder of 1 inch to Coindesk.

1inch’s system offers an alternative to traditional broda formation. Network fees are covered with “resolvers” instead of users themselves. These dissolvers who need to insert 1 inch tokens to have this status compete with each other to make sure users get the best possible prices.

“Lower fees, faster finality and improved security should attract both experienced DEFI users and newcomers who burn wider market participation and liquidity growth across 1 inch ecosystem,” KULZ

The ZKsync is built using zero-knowledge technology, a type of LAG-2 scaling system, and offers significantly lower gas fees compared to Ethereum’s main network while increasing transaction speeds. Despite these speed and cost benefits, it utilizes the security of Ethereum Blockchain.

Zksync’s roadmap shows that the network aims to reach 10,000 transactions per year. Second and examines technologies that can potentially eliminate transaction fees in the future.

Most recently, Swiss bank giant UBS said it is testing ZKSync’s technology for one of its gold -supported financial products.
