Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General LT General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry praised the significant role the nation has played, especially students, in Operation Bunyanum Marsoos during the recent conflict with India, the military’s media wing reported on Tuesday.
DG visited Karachis Jinnah University for Women, where he interacted with students and highlighted how their commitment helped dismantle India’s strategic assumptions once and for all, according to ISPR.
“In Operation, Bunyanum Marsoos, the nation, especially the students, played a crucial role in permanently destroying India’s strategic assumptions,” he said.
He repeated further Pakistan’s commitment to its territories and said, “There is no doubt that Kashmir is the jugular vein in Pakistan. Balochistan’s population is bound to Pakistan through religion, culture and traditions.”
The ISPR chief also assured that no external strength, including a handful of Militants from India, would be able to harm Pakistan’s relationship with Balochistan.
Upon arrival at the university, the administration and students warmly welcomed Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry warmly welcomed and paid tribute to the success of Pakistan’s armed forces in the operation against India. The students expressed their support for the military and said, “We are with the Pakistani army and the army is with the people.”
Pakistan Armed Forces carried out Operation Bunyanum Marsoos on May 10 as part of the military conflict ‘Marka-E-Haq’ in response to the Indian military’s creepy attack, which began the night of May 6 and 7, resulting in loss of innocent civilian lives, including women, children and the elderly.
On May 10, Pakistan Operation Bunyanum Launched Marsoos and deployed his al-Fatah missile and targeted several Indian military installations. However, after the intervention of US President Donald Trump, a full and immediate ceasefire was reached between India and Pakistan.
