Islamabad:
Ispr dg lt gen ahmed sharif chaudhry, NDMA -President LT Gen Inam Haider and Information Minister Attaullah Tarar briefed the media on Tuesday about the ongoing relief operations in the midst of heavy monsoon rain and flooding.
DG ISPR said the army had intensified emergency relief operations under the Army Chief, saved 6,903 people and provided medical support through nine camps in KP.
Eight army units were involved in relief work in the province, while two battalions operated in buns. Army Aviation also helped with rescue and supply tasks.
