James Hewitt, former lover of the late princess Diana, has opened up the ongoing rift between Royal Brothers, Prince William and Prince Harry.
Talking about Good morning UKJames shared that Diana would have been “concerned” over Harry and William’s feud.
He said Diana “would have done her best” to solve tension between them.
“I think every mother would be worried and worried about such a gorge … and she would do her best to try to gather them,” the 66-year-old former cavalry officer who had a five-year affair with Diana, said.
In addition, James remembered his last conversation with Diana before her death in 1997.
The conversation happened shortly after her infamous BBC Panorama interview from 1995 with Martin Bashir, where Diana revealed everything about her marriage to the then Prince Charles. James said Diana seemed “distant” in their conversation.
“It created problems, but I try to move on from it. This is admittedly, you know, personally for me to try to get ahead and help as best I can,” he added.
It is worth mentioning that the fall between Prince William and Prince Harry has been widely covered, especially after the Duke of Sussex’s Memoir of 2023 Reserve And his and wife Meghan Markles Netflix documents.
