Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs allegedly reached his former personal assistant when his ex-boyfriend Cassie Ventura first sued him in 2023.
The ex-personal assistant-the second of three women who testify to him-opened on Friday on a “trigger” phone call she received shortly after his ex-boyfriend Cassie Ventura sued him in November 2023.
“It was just so triggering to see it,” said the assistant, who identified anonymously in the court of the pseudonym “Mia.”
Mia said she was first excited to hear from D-Roc, one of Combs’ former bodyguards when he reached his days after Ventura’s trial until she realized he was in the Bad Boy Records founder’s home and tried to restore her with his former boss.
Mia claimed she was spiraling in panic mode when she saw the rapper’s incoming phone call shortly after.
“I threw my phone as far as it would go behind the couch and I ran outside,” she remembered.
The ex-assistant said she felt “scared, threatened, scared, nervous” and “would play mute,” so she could find out a game plan to protect herself.
“I didn’t want my life to be in danger,” Mia said in the Manhattan Court.
During the hearing on Friday, Combs’ lawyer Brian Steel also launched cross -examination by examining the woman about several dozen positions she made about Combs, Ventura and other people and events in their circle.
Steel confronted Mia about a comedy video she sent on Combs’ birthday in 2013, and showed Combs pretending as a doctor who helped Mia give birth to a baby.
“Shout to my mentor,” she wrote, referring to Combs, “Thank you for always letting me give birth to my dreams.”
“Here you have posted your personal account, your rape is delivering the baby,” said Steel, who Mia said the pictures were a facade to keep up with the trend of showing only their best lives.
Mia previously claimed she was repeatedly assaulted sexually in her employment from 2009 to 2017 with Bad Boy Entertainment.
