Sean “Diddy” Combs’ attorneys expect his judgment to be about two years after his conviction of two transport counts to participate in prostitution.
Meanwhile, prosecutors have recommended between 51 to 63 months of judgment.
Both sides declared the potential judgment in their opinion in separate letters to the judge who oversees the case.
Combs could be sentenced to up to 20 years in prison for transport for prostitution taxes – 10 years for each tax. He will be convicted at a later date per People Magazine.
Combs, which have already spent 10 months in detention, were acquitted of the more serious charges of sex trade and racketing conspiracy in a Wednesday consultation.
Combs had denied all the charges, saying that the drug-stricken sexual sessions with male escorts-as the two of his former girlfriends testified in the trial-was consensus.
In their letter to US district judge Arun Subramanian, Combs’ lawyers promised the judge to oversee his federal case that the rapper will not contact escorts or prostitutes if released on bond.
His lawyers requested that he be released on a $ 1 million bond, co-signed by his mother, sister and Sarah Chapman, mother of his oldest daughter, chance.
His bail was denied after prosecutors asked the judge not to provide bail and said in their letter to Judge Subramanian that Combs remains a danger to society because he could still commit prostitution crimes.
They pointed out how the music mogul still allegedly attacked his ex -girlfriend – who testified under the pseudonym Jane – three months before his arrest while he was aware that he was under federal investigation.
