Dion Jordan was a very touted NFL view that came out of college in 2013 and was treated as such.
Miami Dolphins chose Jordan with number 3 selection of the draft that year, but his career did not go exactly as any planned. The former defensive end had three sacks in 26 games for the dolphins and was then suspended in 2015 for violations of NFL’s drug abuse policy.

He reappeared in the league in 2017 with Seattle Seahawks and secured four sacks in five matches, but it wasn’t enough to revive his career as a starting. He played for Oakland Raiders and San Francisco 49ers before leaving the league after the 2020 season.
Jordan, 34, came to intervene in the failure by meeting the high expectations.
“I didn’t have my life in order. My life outside Ball wasn’t in balance,” he said in a recent interview about the “Fish Tank” podcast. “You know that wasn’t what it was going to be to match all these things and I fought, guy. I struggled to come in. I struggled to understand acting and playbook.

“When I left the plant it didn’t help because I’m out partying. I enjoy the money I have and I just lie behind eight-ball. I’m hurt, you know. Sometimes I’m missing my rehabilitation, so It doesn’t help.
Jordan made it clear that it was not someone else’s fault, but his own for the way his NFL career panned. He is now an assistant at Eureka College in Illinois to help teach the next generation.

In 63 career games he had 13.5 sacks and 108 total tackles.
