Islamabad:
The Ministry of Religious Affairs on Thursday held a conference on national disadvantages and Mashaikh council and gathered prominent religious scholars from all over the country.
The conference contained extensive discussions about the proposed national disadvantage and Mashaikh Council Bill. In a remarkable development, participants approved the English translation of the Holy Qur’an, and the official launch of a dedicated Qur’an mobil application also took place during the event.
The conference ended with a unanimous decision to observe today as a YouM-E-Taskur (Day of Gratitude) and YouM-E-Pakistan.
