Division’s executive producer, Julian Gerighty, has given a small update on the development of Division 3. As seen by VGC, Gerighty was interviewed by New Game+ Showcase about the upcoming The division projects. He confirmed that “Division 3 is in production”.
While we already knew the game was in development (it was revealed in 2023), Gerighty went on to say that the upcoming sequel is “shaping up to be a monster”.
During the interview, Gerighty comments on the kind of players who still support Division 2followed up with a treat Division 3development:
“Within these walls, in Massive [Massive Entertainment]we are working extremely hard on something that I believe will have as much impact as Division 1 was”.

Division 3 was announced back in 2023, and it will once again be helmed by Massive Entertainment, under the direction of executive producer Julian Gerighty. Currently, Division 2 is still receiving major updates, and the series will celebrate its tenth anniversary in March 2026.
