- New photos and videos of the upcoming drone are leaked
- The camera system is jerked to get an upgrade
- We could see the drone officially revealed sometime next week
All indications are that the DJI Mini 5 Pro will officially be revealed next week, but in the meantime the leaks continue – and new images and unboxing videos have found their way to the Internet.
The various leaks are assembled by NotebookCheck, but the most interesting sneaks -prviews – the unboxing videos – appear to have been in public by accident and are now set to private.
It suggests that these videos were prepared to go live when the drone was made official by DJI. Tipsters have predicted that the official launch could be as early as tomorrow or maybe a day or two after.
Some of the image’s leaks here come from European retailers, suggesting that store shelves are now filled with DJI Mini 5 Pro. The drone is expected to come in a variety of bottom settings, and these have previously been leaked.
Pricing and design

Among the leaks are pictures of the high quality drone and its accessories from Tipster @maurotandoi. The design matches what we have seen from previous leaks, so it is largely confirmed at this time.
As for pricing, a figure of about € 799 has been proposed (which converts to about $ 940 / £ 690 / AU $ 1,410). DJI Mini 4 Pro was sold at the same price in Europe when it was launched in September 2023 and $ 759 / £ 689 / AU $ 1,119 internationally.
When it comes to upgrades, the leaks that have emerged so far have pointed to improvements in both video quality and flight time – two of the most important specifications for any drone, so we have high hopes of what DJI has been working on.
It does not appear that much will change in terms of design, but a larger camera module and two forward-facing Lidar sensors have been seen. Of course, as soon as DJI does any of this official, we will tell you.
