- Leaked materials reveal the first proper appearance of the rumored DJI Osmo Nano
- Mini Modular Action Cam looks like an Insta360 Go 3S -Rival
- There will be two versions: 64 GB and 128 GB, with similar pricing to go 3s
It looks like DJI is ready to go head to head with Insta360, with rumors suggesting that an Osmo Nano is on the way, warm on the heels of the excellent Insta360 Go Ultra.
As a mini modular action -cam, Osmo Nano is a sequel of kind of DJI’s Action 2, released in 2021, but fresh leaks reveal the new model’s design, and it looks like it has much more in common with Insta360’s Go 3S, in fact, and less then GO Ultra.
Dji Tipster Jasper Ellens has shared (and translated) on Drone XL What looks like a slide from a presentation tire to Osmo Nano, which gives us the first clear appearance of the pill-shaped action cam along with a few of its features and accessories.
Ellens continues to share the price and the release date as well, and we may not have long to wait …

DJI’s most fun action -cam yet?
The Insta360 has developed the ‘Go’ series with magnetic Mini -Action -Cams that can be mounted and placed in narrow spaces that even ordinary action cameres like DJI OSMO ACTION 5 PRO AND GOPRO HERO 13 BLACK CANNOT. And it is for this application that Osmo Nano steps in.
There is the pill -shaped camera device sent in 64 GB and 128 GB of versions and has magnetic mounting on the back and sides. Furthermore, the magnetic polarity can be turned into different uses – nicely.
In addition to built-in storage, there will be an SD card game, presumably in the screen unit, which is likely to be able to see, control and record clips, both when attached to the camera unit or externally via a wireless connection.
It seems that there will also be plenty of accessories, including baseball cap mounts and pet collar is fitted to first-person / pet view.
Another slide apparently reveals the price in euro: € 369 for 64 GB version and € 399 for 128 GB version – just in line with the GO 3s and which may be the equivalent USD price and could convert to around £ 339 / £ 369.
So when can we expect DJI Osmo Nano? Ellens says to mark the calendar for September 10 as well as looking for the DJI Mini 5 Pro teasers.
It is not yet clear whether DJI’s Osmo Nano will replace the Go 3s as the top Mini -Action -Cam, but we will be sure to give it a full test if and when launched. If it’s something like the Go 3s, it can be DJI’s most fun action -cam yet.
