Ncuti gatwa has opened up on its exit from Doctor Who.

As reported by The independentGatwa released a statement of his exit from the second season on May 31

He said, “You know when you are thrown, at a time you will have to give back the sonic screwdriver and it all comes to end, but nothing is preparing for it completely.”

When he talked about his journey on the show, Gatwa said, “This journey has been one that I will never forget, and a role that will be part of me forever. There are no words to describe how it feels to be thrown as the doctor, and there are also no words to explain how it feels to be accepted in this iconic role that has existed in over 60 years and is really loved by all over the world.”

“The fans are really the final character and beating the heart of this show, and I can’t thank Whoniverse and Whovians, there is enough to welcome me and make this such a touching experience.”

“I’ve loved every minute of it, but now it’s time to hand over the keys to the beloved blue box and let another take control and enjoy it as much as I have. I really want to miss it, and forever be grateful for it, and everyone who has played a role in my journey as the doctor,” the actor added.

It is worth mentioning that ncuti gatwa comes in the last scene when Time Lord regenerates into Billie Piper who apparently plays her old Doctor Who Character Rose Tyler.
