Los Angeles Dodgers Pitcher Blake Snell says his Home in the Seattle area was broken in last week.
No one was at home at the time of the burglary. Snell was in Los Angeles for Dodgers’ home opener the next day, which he started.
“I can confirm that our home was recently broken in,” Snell said in a statement via NBC King 5. “Fortunately, no one was injured. We work closely with local authorities and are incredibly grateful for their quick answers and ongoing support.
“We have security recordings that actively help with the investigation, and we are sure that the responsible persons will be caught and removed from our society. If you know something, you have to say something – contact local law enforcement.”

Police were notified of the burglary March 26, one day before the game. Officers found a broken window when they arrived at home.
Edmonds Police Commander Josh McClure said it was unclear if something had been stolen because “there had clearly been some items of high value that had been left there.”
Snell’s home was divided into the same week as former Seattle Seahawks star Richard Shermans in nearby King County. The homes are separated by a 6-miles ferry ride.

“Of course, there is always the possibility that they are connected. We do not have enough information to say that they are connected,” McClure said.
A number of home burglaries were reported to several high -profile athletes during the fall, including Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and Joe Burrow, which received warnings from leagues to use caution.
Tua Tagovailoa said he hired armed safety and divered burglars to try to break into his home.

Snell, a two-time Cy Young Award winner, signed a five-year-old, $ 162 million deal with dodgers during the peak season, joining an already stacked team. Dodgers’ home opener was their third season match after playing a two-game set in Tokyo earlier this month.
