The Los Angeles Dodgers Has pledged $ 1 million to help families affected by immigration arrest stations a step that comes a day after the organization claimed it had denied US immigration and customs enforcement (ICE) agents admitted because of the ballpark.
The team released a statement on Friday in which he announced the obligation, adding that the money will go “against direct financial assistance to families of immigrants affected by recent events in the region.”

“We believe that by committing resources and taking action, we will continue to support and lift the communities in the Greater Los Angeles.”
Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass thanked MLB Hold on to her support after the arrests, which she said “have sent shock waves of fear that mugged through every neighborhood.”
“My message to all Angelenos is clear: We will stay together during this period and we will not turn our backs on each other – that’s what makes this the biggest city in the world,” Bass’ declaration of Bass continued.

The promise followed A disputed requirement from Dodgers’ Thursday, when the team claimed to have rejected Ice Agents’ request to enter Dodger Stadium’s parking lot before a game.
Ice quickly denied the claim in a post on social media and said “Fake. We were never there.”
Law enforcement was discovered outside Dodger Stadium earlier Thursday, which was initially thought to be ice, which got protesters on the spot. But in its own statement after Ice’s denial, the US customs and border protection (CBP) said that “CBP vehicles were at the stadium parking lot very short,” and it “had nothing to do with Dodgers.”

Vehicles in stadium areas were “not related to any operation or enforcement,” a CBP spokesman said in a statement.
