The US Ministry of Education Has launched Title IX studies of Maines Doe and a state school district to allegedly ignore President Donald Trump’s executive order of transking athletes in girls and women’s sports.
Maine joins California and Minnesota as states to be investigated to allegedly continue to allow biological men to compete against biological women.
“Today, the US Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights (OCR) sent a letter to the Maine Department of Education -Commissioner Pender Makin announcing that OCR initiated a corrected investigation of the Maine Department of Education (MDOE) in the middle of accusations that It continues to allow male athletes to compete in girls’ interscholastic athletics and that it has denied female athletes who were only intimate facilities, thereby violating the federal anti -discrimination law, “the USDOE said in a press release Friday.

Trump and Maine’s Governor, Janet Mills, collided over transient women in sports on Friday when Trump told her in the White House that she has to follow his executive order, or “You won’t get any federal funding,” as she replied: ” See you in court. ”
“I am complying with state and federal laws,” Mills said before Trump said, “Well, we are the federal law,” and “you have to do better, you do better because you don’t get any federal funding at all if you don’t do it.

Trump promises to cut off federal funding to Maine over rejection of complying with ‘no men in women’s sports order’
Mills released a statement on Friday and said, “The state Maine will not be intimidated by the president’s threats.”
On Thursday, Trump promised not to give Maine any federal money if the state continues to allow biological men to compete in girls and women’s athletics.
“They still say, ‘We want men to clean it up,” Trump said.
Acting Assistant Secretary of Civil Rights Craig Trainor added as part of Doe’s message, “Maine would have you think it has no choice in how it treats women and girls in athletics – that is State laws and allowing man athletes to compete against women and girls.

Usdoe is also investigating San Jose State, Upenn and a Massachusetts High School. Trans athletes Blaire Fleming and Lia Thomas starred in SJSU and Ivy League School respectively, where Thomas won a NCAA Division in title in 2022.
Trump signed “Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports” executive order on February 5th.
