Female Athletes Stephanie Turner and Payton McNabb testified to members of Congress at the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) Sub -Committee’s “InJourly Play: Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports” hearing Wednesday.
At one point during the consultation, the two women were contacted by Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas.
“‘You are both very brave. You are very brave to be here and I will say thank you for all this,'” Crockett told the two women, Turner told Pakinomist Digital.
“And I said ‘Payton and I both took out of our day to be there and I think it is very disrespectful that you would cooperate this consultation that is about me and Payton and make it your own policy.'”

Crockett had just spent his turn during the hearing to divert the conversation away from protecting women’s sports, the main purpose of the hearing, to condemn President Donald Trump for other issues. Crockett had previously tried to talk
Crockett even brought light on the question of Trans Athlet -Including by transforming her monologue into a game she called “Trump or Trans.” The game contained Crockett and asked another witness whether Trump or transgender people would blame for a series of non -underpinned questions that included “to increase the price of everything” and “ignore the constitution.” The witness replied “Trump” all 12 times.
Crockett has been openly against Republican efforts to keep trans athletes out of women’s and girls’ sports, even earlier mockery Americans who claim to have been affected. Still, she tried to be free with McNabb and Turner, according to them.
“I think she’s lying,” McNabb told Pakinomist Digital. “I didn’t think a word she said, because literally the theaters, and just how she acted literally all the time and then tried to come over and whisper and be a lovely girl for us. I don’t know what happened, it was like a completely different person than what we all saw 10 seconds before she got over there.”
Pakinomist Digital reached Crockett for further comment.
Crockett’s Antics was one of only several events that highlighted a hearing of chaos involving several shouting matches between committee members and witnesses, as well as clearly questionable comments. Many such comments confused, frustrated and offended Turner and McNabb.
McNabb suffered permanent brain damage in high school after being spiked in the head of a trans opponent during a volleyball match. She then had to see the opposite witness Fatima Goss Graves, CEO of the National Women’s Law Center, suggest that the way to prevent other women from facing similar injuries is to prevent spiking in volleyball completely.
“I would argue that the answer is to make sure people can’t spike volleyballs in the heads of others,” Goss Graves said during the hearing when responding to McNabb’s story.

For McNabb, Goss Graves’ answer was surprising.
“It was just completely ridiculous,” McNabb said. “The fact is that that day, and to hurt was unlike something else I’ve ever experienced, and it’s because it was a man who hit me in the face, it’s really just so simple.”
What came as an even greater shock to McNabb was when Goss Graves offered to work with the former volleyball player to help her recover from her brain damage during the hearing.
“It doesn’t happen. This woman is obviously not sensible and I don’t know why she would think I would ever have some medical advice or advice in general from her,” McNabb said.
Turner, who became viral in April to refuse to meet a trans opponent in a fence match and be punished by USA hencing, made special insult to comments from Rep. Lateefah Simon, D-Cal. During Simon’s turn, she suggested that the protection of women’s sports would lead to bring back racial separation and that black women would be disproportionately targeted after the violation law.
“I find out that like a black woman herself is quite offensive,” Turner said.
“I think it’s offensive because they lead with this statement ‘like a black woman. I’m a black woman.’ Well, I am a black woman, I was born in Washington DC, I was raised in one of the blaze parts of America in Montgomery County, Maryland, and no, I don’t agree with you, it’s wrong.
On Wednesday also marked the first time Turner came face to face with US fence stool Damien Lehfeldt, who was sued for the hearing since her viral knee protest. Turner got a black card to refuse to meet the trans opponent, disqualified and escorted out of the room and then got a 12-month probationary time.
Lehfeldt was aggressively pressured by members of the Republican Committee throughout the hearing on his organization’s pro-trans-trans policy and punishment for Turner.

At one point used rep. Nancy Mace, Rs.C., his time to ask Lehfeldt to apologize for Turner. LefHeldt did not apologize to the request, and in response, Mace suggested that Lehfeldt was “not” a man.
“Real men protect women, you’re not one,” Mace said.
Turner said she was not surprised by Lehfeldt’s refusal to apologize and would not have accepted it even if he did.
“An apology is just empty words without actions,” Turner said.
Turner added that after Wednesday’s hearing, she sees the next big goal in the movement to protect women’s sports is to push US fences to make concrete changes in its sex eligible policy to protect female competitors.
The organization said it is preparing to change its current policies It allows biological men to compete with women and girls in case it is “forced” to change it.
