Miami Dolphins suffered a severe loss for New England Patriots on Sunday when Pressure ramped up ownership to make a decision about their general manager and head coach.

Mike McDaniel’s press conference after the game after the 33-27 defeat did not do much to inspire the confidence among fans. He was asked about the team’s lack of conversion on fourth down on their final possession of the game.

“That’s how frustration lies to me is that it didn’t decide that it cost us, or a late game call, as it sometimes happens,” McDaniel said. “But this was not one of these times. I got the game in, but I have to do a better job of monitoring the orchestration within our multiple staff groups.

“To win games you have to win the game and not lose the game, honestly. And that’s how you lose the game. You move the ball down the field, you’re first-and-10 and then you’ll find yourself on second-and-20. It was critical.

Later, he complained that the team did not perform properly in critical situations. The Patriots’ defense came to Tua Tagovailoa twice on the last drive, and they made a delay in game penalty.

The smart lines from McDaniel have fallen on deaf ears and the fans become more frustrated over the week. A plane flew over Hard Rock Stadium that required firing of McDaniel and general manager Chris Grier.

Miami’s schedule doesn’t get any easier either.

The dolphins play Buffalo Bills Thursday night with the New York Jets lurking around the corner. Miami could start 0-3 against division opponents.

McDaniel said he wasn’t necessarily worried about his job security despite starting the season 0-2.

“I think if I worry about my job security, I don’t do my job, and I think it’s inherently against all things I believe in,” he said. “I have never felt entitled to anyone – I have never felt entitled to this position, and it is very important for me to spend all my waking hours worrying about exactly how I do my job and all the remaining effects of it are many people affected.

“Yes, I don’t spend a moment thinking about all the things that people – no matter what people want me to think about. I think about this team and the buffalo calculations here after I’m done with this podium.”
