Miami Dolphins Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa says he works to get his relationship with star recipient Tirek Hill back on the field after Hill The notorious said “I’m out” after the 2024 season did not result in an end game.
Veteran Signal Caller spoke with journalists Wednesday at Dolphin’s Training Camp, where he talked about Hill’s comment. He was honest with his answer.
“When you say something similar, you don’t just come back with, ‘My Bad’,” Tagovailoa said via the NFL network. “You have to work on this relationship. He is working on himself.”

Hill’s comments came after the dolphins lost to the New York Jets in week 18, 32-20, leaving them without the playoff quay as a wild card team.
It was Hills for the first time not to play playback, and his quick response to that feeling left many wonder if he played his last match in Teal and Orange.

“I just have to do what’s best for me and my family,” he said at the time. “If it’s here or wherever [going to] Open the door for myself. I’m out, bro. Hill’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, stepped in to say that the star recipient’s comments were “very real”, though he remained obliged to play for the dolphins.
“He wants to win. It’s not good enough for him not to play playoffs,” Rosenhaus said. “He is very passionate. I think that at the end of the day he is committed to this dolphin football team.”

Hill also went back with his comments in January and said it was “frustration” that led to them.
Hill, who still has two years left on his three -year -old, $ 90 million contract that the dolphins gave him was never traded by Miami this season. As a result, he goes into Dolphin Training Camp with more than just preparing for the new year.
The eight-time pro bowler had his worst statistical season since 2019, when he made up 959 yards at 81 receptions with six touchdowns, all the lowest numbers he has set up since that year.

The dolphins enter the 2025 season in the hope that health can remain on their side, especially with Tagovailoa who need to miss time again last year due to another concussion.
