- Four new photos of DJI Osmo 360 have leaked online
- 360 Action Camera tilted for July 2025 Launch
- Specification that is said to compete with Insta360 X5
Even more leaked images of the long rumored DJI Osmo 360 have been sent on X (formerly known as Twitter), showing the 360-degree action camera from almost any angle.
Despite being the watermark, the four images sent by Prolific Tech Leaker Igor Bogdanov (there tweets like @quadro_news) can be our clearest look yet on DJI’s first 360 camera ever.
They match previously leaked images of the device showing a squat dark gray action camera with bulbed ultra-bound lenses on both sides, a small widescreen screen and two physical buttons on one side, plus what appears to be an on / off button on one of the edges.

A true challenger to the insta360 X5’s supremacy?
DJI manufactures drones, gimbals, action cameras and more, so moving into the 360 action camera area acts as a logical progression for the Shenzhen-based producer-Omend one that would put it in direct competition with the market leader, Insta360 (also based in Shenzhen, funny enough).
If these images are genuine and we strongly suspect they are, the OSMO 360 is very much like the Insta360 X5, our current best 360 camera: the same dark gray color, bulbed lentils, rounded edges and a similar size screen (although arranged in another orientation).
And appearance may not be the only thing the two cameras have in common because it has previously been claimed by Tipster @gatamer that DJI Osmo 360 will have “almost the same” technical specifications as the X5 that boasts post production.

As a result of its larger sensors, the Insta360 X5, launched earlier this year, is arguably the first 360 camera that can detect video recordings of decent quality at night, so it will be interesting to see how DJI Osmo 360 ticket prices under similar low light conditions.
Apart from that, we have heard very little about what Osmo 360 may bring to the table as DJI’s first ever 360 camera. Insta360 has set a very high bar with the X5, but DJI has determined the technical know -how to compete in this room.
The good news is that we may not have to wait long to find out. According to another frequent tech tipster, Jasper Ellens, DJI will officially announce Osmo 360 on July 15, 2025 – only three weeks away.
We are eager to see what DJI has in the waiting and Ellens says that it will not be the only new product launched in July, with an ultra-compact DJI Osmo Nano Action Camera and DJI MIC 3 wireless microphone as well due to arrival soon.
