Dove Cameron just opened to shoot X-classified scenes.
The 29-year-old actress, who is dating with Italian singer Damiano David, was encouraged by him to be fearless when filming nude scenes.
Talking to NylonDove explained, “My partner is European and has far less hang-ups on the purity complex than Americans do.”
“I went to the beach with him in a break during the filming and all the girls took off their tops. He was like ‘No one will stare at you. You’re absolutely sure. If you want, you’re free to do so.’ Not that he gave me permission but he was like, ‘you never did this before Descendants mentioned star.
In addition, Dove also credited his film directors and intimacy coordinators for helping overcoming her fears.
“I think it actually helped me to go forward in my development,” she explained.
The Sky 9 Talent also mentioned how she finds it “inspiring” to be in love and admits she feels “very safe” with Damiano.
“The thing about love is that it’s just like inspiring,” Dove Cameron added before ending the conversation about her partner and saying, “I enjoyed this campy feminine moment that I was in where I was suddenly someone else’s girlfriend. I was very healed, very much in love, and felt very safe.”
