- Airpursue PM20 is Dreames first air purifier
- Tracking technology means it turns on when it detects your presence …
- … and directs clean air wherever you go in a range of 16.4 ft / 5m
If you dream of your own personal Clean Air Machine, the DREAME has covered with its first air purifier ever. The disturbingly named Airpursue PM20 is equipped with radars, which means it can detect humans and blow clean air in their direction. It is not a feature that I have seen in all my time writing about the best air purifiers on the market. This cleaner also has a striking resemblance to Dyson Big+quiet, but I’m sure it’s just a coincidence.
Go into a room and air purses will feel your presence and turn on yourself and use the large, swivel Air-Blaster Cup to shoot clean air in your direction. The cup can rotate through 120 degrees and follow you wherever you go within a radius of 16.4 feet (5 meters). The marketing material suggests that it will be particularly useful for allergic strikers.
It’s not just an air purifier either. As a number of dyson cleaners, it can double as a circulating cooling fleet in warmer weather and act as a heater when it also gets cold. So even if it is voluminous, it does its best to justify taking up your floor space.
Tracking technology is the most unique part, but it also looks solid with regard to other features. There is a 4-layer filter system, including H13 HEPA filter. Like any good air purifier, it has the ability to catch and remove airborne allergens, bacteria and other pollutants from the air (here’s more about what air purifiers can help with). Rather, more unusual also promises to break down formaldehyde. The PM20 monitors air quality and reports back on the exact levels of allergens, formaldehyde, tvoc and other pollutants via an LCD screen.
There is a companion app for remote control plus voice help if you want to go hands-free.
Price and accessibility
The AirPursue PM20 is the flagship model and comes with a list price of $ 999. It is designed for larger spaces with a clean air delivery speed (Cadr) of 400 m³/h. There is also a smaller PM10 model for $ 899.99, which is designed for medium-sized rooms and has a cadr of 300 m³/h. Both can be purchased now in the US and Canada, directly from Dream, and is also due to land on Amazon.
You may not be aware of Dream. It’s a newer home apparatus, but in my opinion you are looking at – it already contains in Techradar’s best wireless vacuum guide and best hair dryer. I am fascinated by seeing how its Purifier debut works – we are already getting a review model that flew its way to a tester and will report back as soon as possible.
