Dua Lipa opened up the controversial white wedding guest dress.
In a recent video interview with Harpers BasarThe 29-year-old singer approached the shower of the clothes she wore for the 2022 wedding by Simon Porte Jacquemus and Marco Maestri, People Magazine reported.
“This clothing caused a bit of a voting,” Lipa began.
“The cloth code was white,” she explained, continuing to clear the air by saying, “From all the pictures you can see that everyone has white, so I don’t know why I got so much stick for it.”
“I think too, because I was quite naked for it too,” added the levitative Hitmaker.
For the celebration, Lipa had a clean white dress with a mermaid skirt, hood and 3D flowers accents, paired it with a black handbag and white flower earrings.
The Grammy winner revealed that the designer herself had requested that she choose that dress.
“So it was at his request that I wore this dress for his wedding,” she remembered.
She concluded the topic of saying, “I loved it absolutely. I felt so good at it. It was just incredible. I want to talk about the wedding that is still today.”
