Duchess Sophie channeled her inner Meghan Markle as she “rolled up her sleeves” to help schoolchildren make pizza and ice cream during her latest royal commitment.
According to a statement from the royal family, “Duchess of Edinburgh has visited Barleylands in Essex, where he attended local schoolchildren in ‘Kitchen Classroom’ for a practical ‘field for fork’ day.”
It said, “Students who learn how food are grown and go to our plates before her Royal Highness rolled up her sleeves to help them produce pizza and ice cream.”
The statement added, “The Duchess also participated in a bird of prey, even flying a stable owl!”
Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, is known to share behind the scenes moments, including cooking, on her social media platforms.
Markle’s brand “As ever” is an extension of her love for cooking, entertaining and hosting.
Duchess Sophie is the wife of Prince Edward, King Charles’ youngest brother, while the Duchess of Sussex is married to the monarch’s youngest son, Prince Harry.
