Dwyane Wade Fuel NBA Draft Lottery -Conspiration Theories After Maverick’s Land Top Pick

NEWYou can now listen to Pakinomist articles!

Crying of a rigged NBA draft of lottery is again high and clear.

Dallas Mavericks, with a 1.8% chance to earn the top elections months after shopping away the star Luka Doncic, got away with the right to draft Duke’s Cooper Flagg.

Of course, this is not the first time that has been suspected: There is the frozen envelope theory from 1985 for New York Knicks to get Patrick Ewing; Cleveland Cavaliers got No. 1 choice when the top view was a local child named LeBron James (the same with Chicago Bulls and Derrick Rose in 2008); And many believe that San Antonio Spurs was gifted Victor Wembanyama in 2023.

Well, Hall of Famer Dwyane Wade didn’t close exactly any continuous speculation.

“It’s a business,” he said in a recent conversation.

Wade, of course, wouldn’t go out and say it’s definitely rigged, “because I’m not a witness in it.”

“But this is a business that we are a part of. And I think people forget it in the competition for sports and what we love because we grow up playing sports and it’s not a business when we grow up. But when you’re in the NBA, it’s a business. And the company has to do its best job to make sure you know it’s taken off,” he said.
